ok, yes. you’re thinking, these people look familiar. well when you’re prego, you eventually have a baby. shocker! but this is how nature works. you’re welcome for that little lesson.

so you get to meet this sweet papoose.

and of course, as luck would have it, their first baby turned 2 around the same time so we needed to mark down lots of milestones in one shoot.

one of my favorite things to do is document life rather than super posed moments. i think what we’ll want to remember most are the in-between moments and the crazy mundane. isn’t that where most of our lives are lived?
ok, getting too deep for my own good. fine. just look at the pictures.

this picture makes me tear up a little. a ton of time as a mother is eaten up by us watching babies sleep. hovering over their cribs, either in bliss or with worry. ok fine, i just cried a little.

thanks so much for inviting me into your home to document your lives. it’s so great to be apart of these new moments.

this brings up many questions for me, such as why can’t i be this cute when pregnant?


and also what do you do with a toddler that doesn’t want to participate in the photoshoot. you do what she wants to do! at least she’s cute while being ornery.
